Living Arrows

Living Arrows is a weekly linky celebrating childhood. The project originally took its name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky. Here are all the posts so far in the series.

Living Arrows – 34/52

Another week gone so fast. This has been another week full of adventures and so much fun as well as a fair bit of productive-ness and getting stuff done. The summer holidays have flown by and although we still have two weeks until LP starts school it feels like the summer hasn’t been long enough at all. These two photos were taken at a christening we went to yesterday. It…

Living Arrows – 33/52

This week has been a really lovely week with so many play dates, not a huge amount of time at work and just getting things done. The kids have had a great week and the highlight was definitely the Living Arrows picnic on Thursday. These two photos were taken at the picnic – Little Man doing his ‘cheese’ face and LP with her cheeky grin thinking that eating whilst she’s…

We went to see our lovely friend Lucy on Tuesday, had a day at home sorting everything on Wednesday and generally just catching up and on Thursday we had yet another day at a National Trust property. This has been another lovely week. I really don’t want to jinx it but we have had so many lovely weeks recently – I hope they’ll continue for a while yet! This week we’ve been to The Living Rainforest and another National Trust place – Cliveden as well as to Legoland to pick up our shiny new annual passes! Such a busy week but crammed full of fun things and…

Living Arrows – 30/52

This week’s Living Arrows photos were taken at our lovely day out at Tyntesfield early in the week. It was such a beautiful place to explore and the kids had a great time. LP loved climbing all the stairs, exploring and being ‘medium’ as she’s decided she isn’t small like Little Man but she isn’t big like Mummy and Daddy yet. Love her. Little Man’s favourite thing about Tyntesfield was…

Living Arrows – 29/52

This week has flown by – as every week seems to fly by at the moment. LP finished her first and only year at preschool and we’re relaxed into a holiday routine already. It’s a shame that Hubby and I have to go to work really! Our photos this week sum up their personalities. Little Man loves to eat out with us now but feels like a big boy –…

Living Arrows – 28/52

This week has been a lovely week full of sunny days, time in the garden, playing and just enough work to get us by. It’s been finished off with a night in a posh hotel and a couple of days of adventures – that we’re finishing off today. I’ll tell you about it all soon! These two photos were taken outside doing what we love best – having dinner in…
