Marwell Hotel, Hampshire – Review

We often go on adventures at the weekend and extend them by finding family friendly hotels to stay at. Last weekend we were invited to stay at the Marwell Hotel by Hampshire’s Top Attractions who wanted us to get a feel of what Hampshire had to offer families looking for days out of a break away. As a family we don’t get a huge amount of time together and so this was very much a welcome break.

Manor Farm and Country Park Review

Last weekend we were invited by Hampshire Top Attractions to have a weekend in Hampshire and visit a couple of attractions whilst we were there. A Family Day at the National Motor Museum Beaulieu Review

Dave had always spoken about going to the National Motor Museum Beaulieu as a child but I had never been so was always looking for an opportunity to go. Unfortunately, the entrance prices, in my opinion, are quite high compared to other days out and so we had always chosen to go somewhere else instead of Beaulieu but recently Beaulieu Motor Museum have been added to Tesco Clubcard deals which makes it a much better value day out and I snapped up tickets as soon as I saw them.

Staunton Country Park Review Hampshire

Review: Our First Visit to Staunton Country Park

We always like to visit somewhere new and as we had a day off work together as a family we decided to go off and explore somewhere we hadn’t been before. Staunton Country Park is near Portsmouth, Hampshire and just under an hour away from us. Children under three are free and adults are £7.50. Parking costs £2 but this is refunded off the ticket price.

Last weekend we were lucky enough to spend a few days at Hoburne Bashley Holiday Park in New Milton, Hampshire in the heart of the New Forest. We booked the self catering weekend away a few months ago and were really looking forward to it – Bashley is Hoburne’s flagship caravan park and has been undergoing a refurbishment on their swimming pool so we were excited to see what Hoburne Bashley had to offer.
