Fireworks at Legoland

I added ‘See Fireworks’ to my bucket list at the start of the year and forgot about it, until the world went Halloween crazy and I knew it was time to start investigating local fireworks displays. Unfortunately for us, Hubby was working all the evenings when fireworks would be on and doesn’t have any more annual leave left to take. But at some point I stumbled onto the Legoland website…

30 Days of Autumn

Forest Holidays are compiling a list of 30 things to do in the forest in their 30 Days of Autumn Project and outdoors this autumn and they asked me for our family’s favourite autumn activities. Autumn is easily one of my favourite times of year, I love the leaves everywhere, conkers and the colours – all those autumn browns, oranges and golds. For me all the positives of autumn outweigh…

Warner Bros Studio Tour: The Making of Harry Potter #DarkArts …

Earlier this week we were invited to visit the Warner Bros Studio Tour to see the The Making of Harry Potter and the new Dark Arts section. A Day Out at Alice Holt Forest and the Gruffalo …

We live within a reasonable drive to a few really nice parks, forests and other open spaces. An Afternoon at Langley Park

Last week we spent some time at a park that we used to visit quite often but haven’t been to since LP was 6 months old, Langley Park in Buckinghamshire. Langley Park is a really lovely country park with a lot of woodland and green areas to walk through, lots of benches to stop at and so much to do. Car parking is just £2.50 for the day and that could…

An Afternoon at Sunningdale Park

Last weekend we spent a couple of hours at Sunningdale Park which is one of my favourite playgrounds within a half hour drive from us in Camberley. The park has free parking which is a great bonus! The playground has so much for children of all ages to do – Rocking cars and animals, climbing frames, slides, lots of swings and even a mini assault course that LP enjoyed walking…
