Catching up on TV and Movies with Sky

*This post is in collaboration with Sky

I have never been one to watch a series as it airs on the TV and instead I love to watch a box set all in one go, a few episodes each evening until I have seen the series through before starting the next.

We are currently playing catch up with Game of Thrones, watching as many episodes as possible before the new series starts on 25th April. Sky have all the Game of Thrones back catalogue available to watch whenever we like so it’s the perfect time to catch up – and if you haven’t seen it before, it’s a great show and well worth getting into. Sky Atlantic’s epic tale of lust, treachery, and bloodshed which follows seven noble families as they fight for control of the kingdom of Westeros.

But if bloodshed isn’t your thing then you could try a comedy instead! Join the Dunphys, Pritchetts and Pritchett-Tuckers for another season of Modern Family which returned to Sky 1 this month. Alternatively, comic book fans will love the group of DC’s finest heroes and villains which confront an unstoppable threat in Legends of TomorrowThe Flash also returns for it’s second series with Barry finding that his powers strengthen, allowing him to not only travel at lightning speed, but now travel through time into specific moments past and present.

This is just a small selection of all the shows available on Sky this season. Once we’re up to date with Game of Thrones I’m not sure what we’ll watch! But if movies are more your thing than Sky’s Entertainment choices, then Sky Movies may be more up your street.

Over the coming weeks Sky sees the release of so many fantastic movies and we have pencilled some in to watch already! San Andreas, Mad Max: Fury Road, The Age of Adeline, The Salvation, Spooks: The Greater Good, Inside out and Jurassic World are all ones we just can’t wait to watch.

Over the next weeks, and months, I know that we’ll enjoy catching up on TV shows together, watching blockbuster movies that we didn’t get to see at the cinema and watching new children’s movies like Inside Out on a Sunday afternoon.

We love TV as a family, as a couple and individually and thanks to Sky TV we can watch new releases in the comfort of our living room whenever we want. Catching up with box sets and watching new movies has never been so easy!

We switched from Sky last year but although we don’t really watch much TV we still had to have Game of Thrones for my husband!
