Bucket List Update {January 2015}

At the start of the year I created a Bucket List of things I would like to do this year and this has become a tradition now. I usually write an update on our Bucket List progress every few months but I saw today that Beth at Twinderelmo has created a Bucket List linky to share how we’re getting on month by month. I thought it would be nice to join in and document our progress more regularly. So here’s how we are getting on with the Bucket List so far:

2015 Bucket List

 So just two things ticked off this month but a lot of things planned for the next few months 🙂

I actually read a whole book! I didn’t think I’d tick that one of the list quite so soon as I haven’t read a book in quite a while. A good friend lent me Gone Girl and I was hooked. It’s a great book with lots of twists and it definitely makes you keep reading but I have to be honest – I hated the end. It was a bit of a cop out to me. Have you read it? What did you think?

I’ve also had a new cocktail! When I went to Manchester the other weekend we had pitchers of cocktails in Wetherspoons. One was an old favourite of mine – Blue Lagoon – and the other was one I hadn’t tried before – Woo Woo! Both were lovely and I’m now looking forward to a few more cocktails as the year goes on.

How are you getting on with your plans for this year?

  • I thought the end of Gone Girl was a bit of a let down too. I’ve got another two years left to complete my ’35 at 35 list’ and I’ve still got a few biggies to tick off!! Love your idea of an annual list 🙂

  • I like your bucket lists, I think they are a fantastic idea to push yourself to do something new. Well done on reading your book, I have Gone Girl on my kindle to read and I’ve heard a lot of mixed things. So many people seem to love it but I’ve heard more recently saying they weren’t keen. I’ll still give it a go and see what it is like! xx

  • I need to read more – this should be on my list!! I love a woo woo! I’m not one for drinking anything other than wine & Prosecco but I do like a woo woo & a cheeky vimto – there’s another for you to try!!
    Thanks for linking up Donna xxx

  • I was going to buy Gone Girl but now I’m not sure after you saying you didn’t like the ending! If it comes into the charity shop I might just get it (I work on the book section in our local charity shop and I’m always spending too much on books!) seeing as it’ll be a pound!
