Birchall Tea Review

Disclosure: We were sent the featured products for the purpose of this post however all opinions are my own.

Anyone who knows me will know how much I love tea. I am never far from a lovely cup of milky tea. Although I’m not a fan of coffee I have recently been more adventurous with the types of tea I drink. I’ve been moving gradually from typical black tea to Earl Grey and even green teas on occasion.

Who are Birchall Tea?

Birchall Tea recently got in touch to introduce me to their tea brand. It’s one I hadn’t tried before but one which I admired from the start. You see, Birchall Tea are a family owned tea company with over 140 years and 5 generations of tea making tradition. All their black teas are sourced from the finest tea estates in East Africa. Their teas have won 24 accolades at The Guild of Fine Food’s prestigious Great Taste Awards. Add to that the fact that Birchall black teas are certified by the Rainforest Alliance and grown in a way that helps protect the environment as well as the farm workers and their families, and you definitely have a brand to be admired.

Birchall Tea sent me a lovely box full of their teas and I have loved trying them. They offer both decaf and standard versions as well as both bagged and loose varieties. The Birchall Great Rift Breakfast Blend has easily taken place of my standard cup of tea. I may have found a new love of Peppermint Tea thanks to Birchall.

If you’re a fan of Earl Grey tea then the Pfunda Earl Grey could easily replace your usual tea. Birchall Tea have a great range of fruit teas too. Whatever your taste in tea Birchall will have something for you.
