This week has been so busy – we spent last weekend in Stoke on Trent, having two days at Alton Towers and then a day at Warwick Castle on our way back home. Since we’ve been home we’ve been trying to sort more housey stuff, I’ve had blog work to do and we’ve been preparing for a little adventure that we’re going on next week.
But here we go with the things we’ve been loving this week:
I haven’t read a thing this week unless theme park maps count. Although, I did read this great post from Laura at Five Little Doves whilst I was queuing for the rapids ride at Alton Towers. So much honesty in one post and I could completely relate. Apart from the bit about eyebrows. I’ve never touched my eyebrows.
Hubby and I have caught up with Homeland and the storyline is really starting to get going. If you haven’t watched Homeland yet I would definitely recommend it – but start from the first season!
Hubby bought me Ed Sheeran’s album for Mothers Day and it’s been on in the car pretty much constantly since. I’m a bit late to the party with this one but definitely better late than never!
The children and I made cookies on Wednesday morning. They loved rolling them out and cutting the shapes – although they spread quite a lot when they were cooked!
Oh bum. I am useless at this section aren’t I?! I haven’t taken a photo or even acknowledged what I’ve worn this week at all. Although, I did spend the whole of Tuesday in my PJs. I’ve had a horrendous cold flu type thing since before we went to Alton Towers and it was just what I needed to make me feel a bit better. Sometimes a PJ day is just what the doctor ordered!
As they broke up for the holidays last Friday the children are getting a little impatient for Easter but there isn’t long to go now, one more week! Have a lovely weekend everyone!
