I was lucky enough to be invited up to London for the launch of an awesome looking new gadget yesterday afternoon with a bunch of other lovely bloggers. It was a really nice afternoon in a great location with great company, amazing food, lots of drinks and a product that I cannot wait to get my hands on!
Piper is a complete home automation system which offers fully customisable security where you can set up rules for what Piper does while you’re at home, at work or on holiday. It’s a package that can give complete peace of mind whatever your focus – from home security to a baby monitor or just keeping an eye on your children’s playroom when you’re cooking dinner.
Piper can tell you when things happen at home with a phone call, text message, or email and watch a video of what Piper can see in your own house. You can add friends and family to your trusted circle and Piper will contact them if you’re unreachable. Piper can be equipped with a motion detector, microphone, siren, and battery backup for your constant protection and can be accessible from anywhere in the world via a smartphone or tablet so you can keep an eye on exactly what is important to you, wherever you are. Piper looks stylish, is affordable, and has no monthly fees or contract. It’s self-monitored with no installation, and real visibility into what’s happening in your own home.
From what we saw of Piper at the launch event it is an incredibly versatile piece of tech that can revolutionise any home and streamline your whole way of living. If you haven’t seen Piper then you really should take a look. Price at £119, wi-fi enabled and award winning, I can see a future where Piper is a household name.
I’m looking forward to reviewing Piper in the coming weeks and telling you more about it once we’ve had a chance to use Piper in our own home. It was lovely to catch up with Mummy Is A Gadget Geek, Belle Du Brighton and Mama Geek in such lovely surroundings and I may have had some baby cuddles too! Add to that a great gadget, incredible food and a beautiful London property and there are definitely worse ways to spend an afternoon. Thanks to Piper for being perfect hosts!
Disclosure: I was invited to the Piper launch event but was not asked to write this post. All opinions, as always, are my own.
