A Day at ICON Orlando 360, Florida {Madame Tussauds and Sea Life Orlando}

Disclosure: We have been gifted Merlin Annual Passes for the year however all opinions are my own.

After spending nearly the first week of our time in Florida visiting the Disney parks we felt like we needed a change of scenery and a day out that didn’t involve Mickey and Minnie. So we ventured to ICON Orlando 360, home to Madame Tussauds and Sea Life Orlando as well as the ICON Orlando 360 – that used to be called the Orlando Eye.

10 Things to do at Sea Life Brighton

Disclosure: We have been gifted Merlin Annual Passes for the year however all opinions are my own.

As a family we love a trip to a Sea Life Centre and have been so many times but each time we visit the children love it just as much as the time before, finding something new to look at and seeing the whole Sea Life Centre with fresh eyes each time.

A day at Sea Life London Aquarium

Disclosure: We have been gifted Merlin Annual Passes for the year however all opinions are my own.

We stayed in London recently for a lovely weekend away, something we have never done with the children as we live quite close to London and can pop in for the day any time we like. But, it’s not the same as having a nice chunk of time to really explore the city. During the weekend we visited Sea Life London Aquarium, somewhere the children love and it’s such a nice, relaxed day out and easily accessible too.

Sea Life London Aquarium Review

Disclosure: We were invited on this day out for the purpose of this post however all opinions are my own.

We are always looking for places to visit in London as a family. LP and Little Man love going to a Sea Life Centre and it’s always a fantastic wet weather day out. But we haven’t been to one in quite a while – since last summer I think, so when Sea Life invited us to their London Aquarium we couldn’t wait to go. Dave and I last went there quite a few years ago, when it was just called the London Aquarium and when it occupied a slightly different part of County Hall on the South Bank near the London Eye. We couldn’t wait to see how much the aquarium had changed in that time and introduce the children to what was one of our favourite aquariums.

A Family Break at Potters Resort – Hopton-on-Sea, Norfolk

Disclosure: We were invited on this break for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.

Last week we were invited to stay at Potters Resort in Hopton-on-Sea in Norfolk to see what the resort had to offer families over the summer holidays. I first heard of Potters Resort around a year ago and only knew it was a holiday village on the Norfolk coast so it was nice to arrive for a week away with no expectations.

A Family Visit to SeaWorld Orlando, Florida

Disclosure: We were invited on this day out for the purpose of this post however all opinions are my own.

A few months ago I had an email from Visit Orlando inviting us to visit SeaWorld Orlando Florida on our trip over the summer. It’s somewhere I have always wanted to visit although, like most people, I have seen the media attention surrounding SeaWorld. I always like to experience things for myself before passing judgement and, considering Dave and his parents visited SeaWorld thirty years ago, we were intrigued to see how SeaWorld had changed in that time.
