Review: Wubble

LP and Little Man have been living in the garden over the last few weeks and I don’t see that changing – our summer has begun! Because of this I have been on the hunt for more toys that they can both use outside and the Wubble looked perfect!

Wubble is a ball like no other. It looks and feels like a giant bubble and the children couldn’t wait to play with it. Wubble comes complete with a pump and a guide to tell you how much to inflate it. I did find getting the nozzle of the pump into the Wubble really tricky – you had to push the nozzle in but make sure you didn’t push it all the way through the delicate material. It took quite a while to get the pump positioned right to then be able to inflate the Wubble.

One thing I love about the Wubble is that you can inflate it as much as you like – Little Man played with a small Wubble for a while before we made it bigger and he loved having a football sized Wubble to play with.

The Wubble when fully inflated is about a foot taller than LP and so we decided to only fill it up big enough for her and Little Man to play with. The suggested age for children to use Wubble is 6+ and realistically a fully inflated Wubble would be able the height of an average six year old.

Little Man and LP loved the Wubble. They liked how it looked like a bubble, how they could throw it, roll it and bounce it. The Wubble acts just like a bubble where if you touch it then it gives slightly under you hands – as you’d expect a bubble to do if it didn’t pop!

Wubble is great fun for all the family and would be perfect for a day at the park or on the beach. One thing to be aware of though is that it is quite delicate – it shouldn’t be played with around rocks, rose bushes or anything else that might burst it. Having said that, the Wubble stood the test of a nearly two year old and three and a half year old playing with it and lived to tell the tale – so it isn’t that delicate!

Wubble has an RRP of £19.99 including the pump but is also available without the pump for RRP £9.99.
