Review: Twirlywoos Soft Toys

LP’s newest love when it comes to TV shows is the Twirlywoos. She knows their names, talks about them constantly and can recite the Twirlywoos shows that she has seen. If you haven’t heard of Twirlywoos it’s the latest craze in children’s television on CBeebies and is made by the creator of Teletubbies and In The Night Garden – so you can understand why LP loves it so much.

Golden Bear have produced a range of Twirlywoos toys and LP was beyond excited when a box of Twirlywoos soft toys arrived for her to review. Both her and Little Man love watching the show with it’s bright colours and slapstick humour so I knew that the toys would be a hit.

Talking Toodloo and Talking Great BigHoo are the Mummy and Daddy of the Twirlywoos family. Both are a really good size and made of beautifully soft material. When you press their tummies they say phrases and noises from the show.

Peeking PeekaBoo is another character from the show and has a squeaker in it’s head but more than that it can be turned inside out to hide inside it’s shell and works well as a hand puppet too.

Lastly, Fun Sounds Chickedy and Chick are the little members of the Twirlywoos family. Both say phrases from the show when their tummies are pressed and make noises that work well with each other. They are made of that same lovely soft material and LP and Little Man have claimed ownership of one each.

The whole Twirlywoos range of soft toys are well made, fun and true to the characters on the TV show. LP and Little Man recognised them instantly and have taken at least one of them everywhere with them since they arrived. If you have a Twirlywoos fan they will love these toys – it’s as if the characters have jumped out of the TV screen and the kids couldn’t be happier.

Peeking Peekaboo and Talking Toodloo have an RRP of £14.99, Talking Great BigHoo has an RRP of £16.99 and Fun Sounds Chickedy and Chick have an RRP of £9.99 each.

Disclosure: We were sent the above products for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.
