Scentco Scented Stationery Review and Giveaway!

LP loves drawing, writing and colouring. She’s really into anything creative at the moment and has asked that when our extension is finished whether she can have her very own creativity corner – full of pens, paper and craft supplies. But, for now, she was sent a lovely package of products from Scentco to try out.

Scentco create scented stationery – with everything from pens and pencils to notebooks and LP couldn’t have been more excited to experience her first ever smelly pens. They’re something I remember from my own childhood but I could tell from the Scentco products that they have come so far in that time.

Positive Edge Education Giveaway!

As parents we always see schools teaching our children academic skills and we help with that at home as well as teaching the children manners and about core values – things like friendship and being nice to other people. But, Positive Edge Education know how important the extra skills such as resilience, creativity and collaboration are to our children’s future.

After speaking to leading neuroscientists, Positive Edge Education have developed a program teaching children about their brain and resilience through visual stories – as we all know children learn so much better when they have a nice story to look at.

Brick Box Review and Giveaway!

LP absolutely loves Lego and other construction kits. Something clicked about six months ago and since then she has sat happily, following instructions and building Lego kits like there is no tomorrow. So when Brick Box got in touch to see if we would like to try out their subscription box LP couldn’t wait for the delivery to arrive.

Brick Box is a monthly Lego subscription, delivering a box full of Lego treats each month with each box having a specific theme. Our box arrived – delivered by a reputable courier – and contained a Mixels themed Lego.

Fred’s Box Review and Giveaway!

As a family we love a subscription box and the latest one we’ve been trying out is Fred’s Box. It is a subscription service that delivers mini figures direct to your door each month. The figures are compatible with Lego and other building bricks and each delivery has a theme to it – ours was Star Wars.

Cartamundi Fundels Review and Giveaway!

We love reviewing Cartamundi games, even more so now the children are at an age where they love to play and can really get into a game. So when Cartamundi asked us to review their new Fundels range of games we couldn’t wait to try them out.

Cartamundi Fundels are a really fun range of card games that are both fun and educational. There are currently four different games – a mathematics game, a languages game and two conceptual thinking games. But each of these games comes in two versions, either a standard or premium option.

We were sent the language premium game and the mathematics standard games which were great for LP as she is now in year one at school and constantly learning more about reading, spelling and maths.
