Review: Starting School with Pink Lining

We have been counting down to LP starting school for literally months and we have definitely made the most of this summer with starting school always at the back of our minds. But last week LP started school and Pink Lining sent her a new backpack to use from the very first day.

LP always takes a bag with her to school, and has done throughout preschool too, and it has a change of clothes in it as well as her drinks cup. She also needs somewhere to put anything she has to take home from school like the endless flyers and letters, homework or things she has made.

Her Pink Lining Big Chaps Rucksack in Raining Cats and Dogs print is perfect for school. It has padded straps to make it comfortable to wear, a nice zipped front pocket and a pouch on the inside making it really versatile for carrying everything she needs. It also has two bottle holder pockets at the sides and a space to write her name too.

Pink Lining also sent Little Man a Big Chaps Arnold the Alien Rucksack so that he doesn’t feel left out and I know that when he starts preschool next year this will be going with him each day. For now it will be reserved for days out with his grandparents or weekends away!

Pink Lining also sent LP and Little Man matching Lunch Bags in the same Raining Cats and Dogs and Arnold the Alien fabrics. Although LP has lunch provided at school lunch bags are something that feature heavily in our days out with us always packing lunch to take with us. Up until now we have used one big lunch bag for all of us so the children love having their own lunch bags and knowing that everything in it is for them.

I was impressed with the Pink Lining Lunch Bags as the attention to detail was amazing. The double zip makes it easier for LP and Little Man to open, there’s an elasticated strap to keep drinks nicely in place and even a netted pouch to keep crisps, cutlery, napkins or anything else safe. The lid also has space for a name and the Lunch Bag handle is genius – having a buckle in the middle to be able to attach it to pushchair handles – or anything else!

Both the backpacks and lunch bags have wipe clean fabric that feels really durable and doesn’t mark easily. They’re the perfect accessories for school or just days out and family time and I love that LP has a backpack that will see her through school.

The Pink Lining Rucksacks have an RRP of £25.00 and the Lunch Bags have an RRP of £15.00
