When we moved Little Man from his cot into a bed we stopped using a sleeping bag with him mainly because I was scared of him falling out of the bed or something and not being able to climb safely back in again. The main problem though is that Little Man finds it hard to cover himself back up with the duvet at night and so often we find him uncovered and as the nights are getting colder I was worrying that he’d get too cold.

What were our first impressions of the Slumbersac with Feet?

When I found out about Slumbersac’s Sleeping Bag with Feet range I knew it would be an answer to our problems. I was sent one to review – and chose the star print, obviously! I was immediately impressed with how roomy the Slumbersac Sleeping Bag was, having plenty of room for Little Man to grow and yet still fitting him well. The design is fantastic and means that even with the room to grow his feet are still exposed enough to enable him to walk whilst in the Slumbersac.

The Slumbersac comes in three different tog ratings – 1, 2-2.5 and 3.5. We chose the standard 2-2.5 tog and Little Man immediately felt snug in it. It also comes in four different sizes ranging from one to four years.

The Slumbersac Sleeping Bag with Feet is a great idea for any child that likes to climb or has moved on to a bed from a cot. It would also be great for holidays and lets the child explore from when they wake up rather than having to get out of their sleeping bag first. My only concern was that Little Man’s feet would get cold but I needn’t have worried as he didn’t seem to mind them poking out – and he cold always wear socks if it got really cold!

This looks like a fab idea – Toby has refused to go in a sleeping bag for months now, which has been fine whilst it’s been warm but now it’s getting colder and he never keeps his blanket on I worry he’s going to start waking up cold.
