Review: Silly Wheelie Mickey

LP and Little Man both adore anything to do with Mickey Mouse and have both loved Mickey Mouse Clubhouse from the time they starter watching TV. We were sent the Fisher Price Silly Wheelie Mickey to review and I think all of us were excited by the prospect of a Mickey Mouse toy cycling around our house!

Silly Wheelie Mickey may be the hardest toy to photograph that we have ever been sent – he doesn’t stay still! Well, he does, but as soon as the children pull down on his flag he starts singing songs, saying catchy phrases and cycling around the room.

But Silly Wheelie Mickey is just so much fun. He spins in circles, does wheelies and every so often gets stuck on the furniture but the children love him. Unlike other toys where I take photos of the children playing with them, Silly Wheelie Mickey is more one the children just stand and watch, with Little Man clapping his hands in glee.

We all love Silly Wheelie Mickey. He isn’t as irritating as a lot of noisy toys and instead is cute and lovable – the kind of toy most children would be automatically drawn to. I’ve made a little video of Silly Wheelie Mickey doing his thing so you can see what sort of things he gets up to.

My only slight criticism is that as Mickey often falls over when he’s cycling his ears have become worn quite quickly and I would have expected him to be a little more hardwearing. If your children love Mickey Mouse they are sure to love Silly Wheelie Mickey. He does work best on lino or wooden floors though – he finds it tricky to cycle on carpet and as he goes in circles a bigger space is better but once he gets going there really is no stopping him!

Silly Wheelie Mickey has an RRP of £39.99

Disclosure: We were sent the above product for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.
