We were recently asked to review Wauwaa – I hadn’t heard of them before so it was great to go and experience a brand for the first time with no previous experience of them.
Wauwaa is a place to go for support and shopping. As well as providing independent advice from experts, Wauwaa also delivers support from real parents as well as offering exclusive sales events for parents to find relevant products at attractive and reasonable prices.
Wauwaa’s unique sales platform showcases products and brands at exclusive prices for families and their growing needs. When I first went online to have a browse through the Wauwaa store I was impressed with the range of items on offer – From clothing to weaning items, footwear to toys. Wauwaa aims to offer products for pregnancy, birth and beyond all at discounted rates and new brands are constantly being added – But be quick, the sales don’t last long and you wouldn’t want to miss out on something – Wauwaa sales events last for 7 days or until stock runs out.
The shop is sorted by brand or you can scroll through everything on offer. I would love for Wauwaa to introduce categories – Clothing, Footwear, Toys etc and maybe a filter option – Filter by size, age etc – This would make navigation easier but I quite liked scrolling through everything on offer as some of the brands weren’t familiar to me.
I found that with Wauwaa I started checking back regularly to see if they had any new products added to the store – It’s addictive! I would wait and see whether Wauwaa’s latest sales events – starting on a Wednesday and Saturday – would bring something new, something at a bargain price that I just had to have! Wauwaa sent me a voucher to spent I chose two Ragtals toys for the children – A Ragtales pull along dog that I knew LP would love and a Ragtals Tooth Fairy – The Toothy Fairy comes in a box that is also her bed and when the child’s milk teeth fall out you put them in the fairy’s backpack! This isn’t something I’ve seen before and although we’re not going to be using it for a few years I thought I’d grab the opportunity to get it!
This isn’t really a review of the products I bought but a review of Wauwaa but I had to write about LP’s love of her ‘Doggy’ – She takes it everywhere with her, including to bed, and will not let it out of her sight. Doggy comes on trips to the toilet, he comes out in the car and he even came on day trips on holiday. Doggy cost just under £25 from Wauwaa and I am so glad that LP has it in her life – She adores it! The wheels come off so that it can be just a soft toy and the lead has velcro in the middle to detach if needed for safety – Although we loop the lead around Doggy overnight just to be sure!
One thing that works slightly differently with Wauwaa to a standard store is that they send all their customer’s orders to the distributors in one go and Wauwaa then receives the goods to fulfill the order before they then repackage the products ready for their customers and send them out – This means that shipping does take longer than you’re used to but it states on everything you order the estimated shipping time – In our case, Ragtales products are sent within 10-14 days. In the end it took 19 days for my order to arrive but Wauwaa did email me at every step to keep me informed and sent me an apology email with a voucher for 20% off my next order – A lovely gesture. The standard shipping charge is £3.95 which I think is in line with a lot of online retailers and the Wauwaa order arrived well packaged.
I had never seen Ragtales toys until I shopped with Wauwaa and there are a lot of other brands that I probably wouldn’t know about if it weren’t for Wauwaa. The reduced prices are fantastic and with the added bonus of advice and information to help you through pregnancy, birth and any parenting stage Wauwaa is a great resource and somewhere I am now visiting every week – Sometimes multiple times a week.
Disclosure: We were given a voucher to spend at Wauwaa for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.
