Review: Personal Planner

I recently went self hosted on my blog and started to blog more regularly – daily where possible. I was finding it hard to keep track of everything I had going on so looked for something to get me organised – as my regular readers will know, I love to be organised, love to have everything sorted well in advance and I like to know exactly what I need to be doing and when.

The lovely people at Personal Planner kindly sent me a Personalised Planner to review in my quest for an organised life!

When creating a Personal Planner, you use the software on their website. Nothing needs to be downloaded, you can save your progress during the creating process and can come back to it at any time. The website and process are incredibly straight forward and you can personalise every aspect of the planner.

I was able to choose either a plain front & back or, as I opted for, a photo front and back along with text. You also choose the colour of the elastic strap that keeps the planner closed.

Inside the planner there’s a handy contact information page, or you can personalise it to say exactly what you want. The following diary pages are for a year but start on any month that you like. Mine starts in September and has arrived just in time!

Each diary page has a week to view and you can amend the layout. It also has three squares that you can tailor to your needs, for example I have chosen Things To Do This Week, List of The Week and Ideas of the Week. A handy calendar of the month is also shown on each page. You also choose the colours for the inside pages. Everything can be personalised!

The last section of the book I have chosen to contain an Overview of 2013/2014 and lined/squared pages for general notes and calculations. There is however a variety of things you can choose to have at the end of the book such as colouring pages or blank paper.

All planners take around 2 weeks to make and you’re sent an email once the planner has been dispatched.

Because of the high standard of the website – the glossy finish and easy to use design, I had incredibly high expectations of my planner and could not wait to receive it through the post.

The planner arrived well packaged and I wasn’t disappointed! The planner looks great and is as functional and useful as I knew it would be.

The front and back of the planner have protective clear plastic pages which make the planner extremely durable. It also comes complete with a clip in ruler and a clear plastic ‘bits n bobs’ pouch.

Personal Planner offer planners starting at £14.99 and Notebooks from £8.99 as well as a range of accessories including leather covers and pens.

Overall I am really pleased with the planner and am well on my way to living a perfectly organised life!

Disclosure: I was sent a gift voucher to redeem for a Personal Planner in order to complete this review however all opinions are my own.
