Review: Parragon – Bunny Loves To Play Book

As part of the Parragon Book Buddy scheme we were recently sent Bunny Loves to Play to review. I loved this book straight away – It looked cute and compact plus it was the sort of book I knew would appeal to both LP and Little Man.

Bunny Loves To Play

The book has a bunny finger puppet through the centre and each page features a different way that bunny likes to play. The finger puppet really draws you into each page and makes the story come alive. LP loved watching bunny move and look around the page and really enjoyed the story, commenting on each page. Little Man really enjoyed the finger puppet and kept trying to grab it – a definite sign of approval from LM! It was his first experience of this sort of book and it was definitely a good first impression.

Bunny Loves To Play

Each page in Bunny Loves to Play has full colour pictures with bunny at the centre. Each page contained loveable characters aside from the bunny – a frog, squirrel and mouse. LP loved spotting these characters on each page and squirrel was a new word for her too! The book is made of board pages which is especially great for Little Man – Board pages make the book a lot more durable and a great addition to a baby’s library. The bunny finger puppet is great quality with lovely detail on it – Bunny looks like a real bunny!

Bunny Loves To Play

Overall Bunny Loves to Play was a great book for Little Man but still held LP’s interest. This would be a great book for a baby that would last them well into toddlerhood.

Bunny Loves to Play is published by Parragon with an RRP of £6.99

Disclosure: We were sent the above book as part of the Parragon Book Buddies scheme but all opinions are my own.
