Review: OrganaMama Monthly Subscription Box {February Launch Box}

I’ve been following OrganaMama on Twitter for a while now and was excited to follow her progress on preparing to launch her OrganaMama subscription boxes. The idea sounded great to me – A monthly subscription box, a familiar concept now, but with completely organic, natural, ethical and sustainable products. It sounded fantastic!

I was lucky enough, and hugely surprised, to win one of the OrganaMama February launch boxes and I was incredibly excited to receive it! Sent by next day delivery, as soon as I opened the postage bag I could smell the wonderful packaging materials – Dried flowers and grasses and the lovely lavender aroma! Add to that the gorgeous reusable box and Organa Mama get full marks for presentation – Even their logo is beautiful!

The box comes with an OrganaMag giving information about all of the brands included in the box as well as information about the charity they’re supporting – Cedar House. £1 from every box is being donated! I really love this little magazine – It’s really informative and gives you a lot of great to know information so that you’re aware of exactly what is in the box, where it comes from and the brands’ stories behind the products. A really lovely addition.

Included in the box was:

  • Pitta Patter Bubble Bath RRP £7.50
  • Ulrich Notorlich Liquid Wash Detergent
  • Gwdihw Cheeky Cherub Balm – RRP £4.49
  • Jack n Jill Toothpaste – RRP £4.99
  • Jack n Jill Silicone Finger Toothbrush – RRP £2.79
  • Amiya UK Natural Cotton Fitted Cot Sheet – £14.99
  • World Playground Drum – RRP £6.49
  • Contented Calf Recipe Book – RRP £14.99

I wasn’t familiar with any of the brands in the box but it’s obvious that they are great quality. There’s also a great range of products – I wasn’t expecting to get a cot sheet or a toy! The whole box was great to receive through my door and definitely something I’d love to receive each month. Today it feels like Christmas has come early!

For more information on this month’s box and a lovely video of OrganaMama’s big box reveal please check out her website!

OrganaMama Subscription Boxes are available for £26 per month or £291 for a year.

Disclosure: I won a competition to be sent the above box and have not been asked to write a review, however I love the brand and concept so much and was so pleased with the box that I thought I’d share it with you. All opinions, as always, are my own.
