Review: miamoo travel goodies

We have a little holiday coming up in March – just to Cornwall – and when maimoo gave us the chance to review their set of travel goodies we thought it would be great practice for our little holiday.

The maimoo travel goodies set, like all miamoo products, is suitable for the  whole family, has at least 98.5% natural ingredients and is great for dry skin conditions. The travel goodies set is particularly practical as it contains a selection of products which are all 30ml in size so can be taken in hand luggage on aeroplanes.

The travel goodies set contains: splashy wash – shower and body wash, fresh locks – shampoo, baba oil – hair, body and baby massage oil, huggy lotion – a daily moisturiser, spritz and wipe – versatile spray and cheeky cream – barrier cream as well as a wash cloth all enclosed in a reusable wash bag. The range of products included in the set is perfect – Something for every eventuality. It would also make the perfect addition to a hospital bag and the products can be used on a baby’s skin from birth.

We introduced the products to our daily routines with the children straight away. We’ve never used baby oil but I enjoyed using this with little man, it was lovely to give him a little massage and we combined it with nappy off time. None of us have any real skin issues but Little Man does get dry patches on his feet and LP gets a dry face in the colder weather. We found that the oil stopped Little Man’s dry feet almost instantly and the dry patches are nowhere to be seen. We used the huggy lotion on LP’s face whenever we saw that it was getting dry and it worked really well. The barrier cream has been a very welcome new addition to our routine and I make sure I use it whenever I change LM’s nappy. It now has a permanent home in the change bag – the perfect size for taking out and about.

Even though we haven’t had any real skin problems, we do follow the miamoo routine of 3 steps to prevent and heal dry skin: Exfoliating Wash, Moisturise then Massage and so far LP and LM are loving their routine and as well as healing the dry skin patches they had miamoo is now preventing dry skin returning in the future.

As well as being great for skin the products are great for bathtime! Both the shampoo and body wash have a great lather and really bubble up, something that LP loved! All the products smelt lovely and the children ended up smelling lovely too! The miamoo products were a very welcome addition to bathtime and our routines and definitely make a change from the norm.

The miamoo travel goodies set has been great to use and it’s definitely something I would get again if going on holiday, each product is the perfect size!

  1. I think we should make it law that we just have gorgeous photos of your kids in the bath every week!
They sound like fab products – Amy has a few dry patches at the moment so the oil would be great for her 🙂
Thanks for linking up this week 🙂
