Meadow Kids sent us a new book to review – Fiona The Naughtiest Fairy – and I immediately loved how Fiona looked like LP – Although Fiona is much naughtier than LP!
Fiona the Naughtiest Fairy is a paperback picture book and we read it straight away. We loved the brightly coloured pictures on each page and the familiar animals and objects throughout the book. Fiona the Naughtiest Fairy is about a fairy who is very, very naughty and yet always gets to eat whatever she wants – Until she is taught a lesson and is only allowed what she wants when she’s been nice.
The story in Fiona the Naughtiest Fairy has a great teaching element to teach children that you get rewarded for doing good things, being nice and treating others as you’d like to be treated yourself and that if you aren’t very nice then you can’t have rewards and treats.
LP loved this book, loved pointing out the characters and animals throughout the book and really enjoyed listening to all the things Fiona got up to. The story is written in rhyme and we’ve found that these books hold LP’s concentration for a lot longer than books without rhyming. Fiona the Naughtiest Fairy is just the right length to read as a bedtime story and one that we will be reading for a long time to come!
Disclosure: We were sent the above book for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.
