We love the Meadow Kids brand and couldn’t wait until LP turned three so that we could start to review their toys. I have scoured their website and come across their toys in shops too and every one I see I love. They are all so different and with educational elements that I love. We were sent the Meadow Kids Build A Stable to Review and it looked lovely, even packaged in it’s own handy storage bag.
The Meadow Kids Build A Stable comprises nine different pieces all made out of foam. Six of the pieces form the stable and then the other three are two horses and a person who you can use to play with the stable once it’s built. The great thing about the pieces being made of foam is that they are great to use in the bath and I have never seen jigsaw type toys like this that are aimed at water play before. LP wasn’t keen on taking it in the bath with her but I can see this being a great toy for bath time or during water play in the garden.
Although LP didn’t want to play with the Build A Stable in the bath she loved playing with it around the house and it is the first time she has had a three dimensional toy to construct. She really enjoyed working out which pieces went where and although the first time she needed help to build the stable as time goes on she is getting better at putting the stable together herself.
We have found the Meadow Kids Build A Stable to be a great alternative to conventional jigsaws with a lot of added play value. The stable is sturdy once built and can be taken apart and constructed time and time again. The storage bag is a handy addition that a lot of other brands don’t think about – with Meadow Kids storage options tend to come as standard.
Disclosure: We were sent the above product for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.
