When LEDHut asked if we’d like to review some of their Christmas lights I had no idea what to pick – Hubby doesn’t like anything lit up outside the house, I’m not keen on multi coloured lights in the house and we have all the tree lights we will ever need. With this in mind I spent some time looking at the LEDHut website for inspiration.
I decided that LP would probably like some lights in the window as it’s not something we’ve ever had before and coming home to a house with lights on in the window would be lovely at Christmas so I picked the LED Indoor Christmas Curtain Star Light which is 1.2m square and has 64 white star lights.
Before the lights arrived I hadn’t measured and hoped they would fit in our window but I needn’t have worried, as the top of the curtain isn’t solid they can be hung to fit any size space up to 1.2m and the dangling stars would just be closer together in a smaller space. This set of lights can be hung anywhere in the house and although we chose to hang them at a window they can also be hung against a wall, on stairs banisters or anywhere else you might like to brighten up during the festive season.
The only thing that I wasn’t clear on was how to hand the lights. There is no information on the LEDHut website and looking at the lights there aren’t any clear hanging loops but you could hang the lights over nails, cup hooks or, as we did, you could use washi tape to secure them! Oh the wonders of washi tape!
I love how simple the star light curtain is and cannot wait to put it up again in December. LEDHut have a great range of lights and their prices are great value too – This Indoor Christmas Star Light Curtain is £23.99 and comes with a 2 year warranty.
