Review: Disney Pixar Cars Drop and Jump Gray Play Set

Little Man loves cars – any vehicles actually, and he has a new found love of Disney Pixar Cars so when the Disney Pixar Cars Drop and Jump Gray Play Set arrived for him to review he was so excited to start playing.

The Drop and Jump Gray Play Set is a really good size truck that opens out to show a track inside. More pieces attach onto it to create a big ramp, track and jump as well as a hoop obstacle for cars to jump through.

The play set includes stickers to attach to the set which is quite fiddly and more than one of the stickers didn’t make it onto the play set due to them getting damaged in the process but the whole set works really well together and all fits back into the truck for storage.

The Drop and Jump Gray Play Set is a really lovely toy – if you have other compatible toys. It doesn’t come with a car to use on the track and so by itself it’s rather disappointing and only usable as a truck really which does limit the play value. Little Man had some racing cars that he could happily use on the track and it made it a much more worthwhile toy.

The Drop and Jump Gray Play Set would be a great addition to an existing Disney Pixar Cars collection and works well alongside other Disney Pixar Cars story sets. The Drop and Jump Gray Play Set lets you recreate stunts from the movies and Little Man loved making the cars jump off the end of the ramp and through the hoop.

I do think that this play set would be better value if it included a car and the lack of car does limit the play value as a standalone toy however Little Man has really enjoyed playing with his Drop and Jump Gray Play Set which shows it would make a great gift for any child who already has their own collection of cars or Disney Pixar Cars toys.

The Drop and Jump Gray Play Set has an RRP of £22.99

Disclosure: We were sent the above toy for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.

  1. Oh that’s a shame that it doesn’t come with a car. That would put me off buying it because although my girls love playing with cars, they don’t have their own collection other than their Sca-elextric cars. I’m really glad your little man enjoyed it though, it certainly looks like fun with the right cars!
