Review: Degustabox {June 2016}

Everyone knows how much I love our Degustabox delivery each month. It arrives in the last week of each month, packed full of food and drink products and delivered by our favourite courier. Degustabox introduces us to new brands, new products and things we haven’t yet had a chance to try as well as, occasionally, sending us some of our favourite tried and tested products too.

This month’s Degustabox came packed full of exciting things – here’s what was included:

  • Haywards Silverskin onions – RRP £1.89
  • Branston Spicy Tomato Relish – RRP £1.65
  • Amoy Coconut Milk – RRP £1.99
  • Schwartz Burger Mix – RRP £1.49
  • Zeo Cloudy Lemon – RRP £2.75
  • Sacla Pesto Pots – RRP £2.79
  • Butterkist Yogurt Coated – RRP £1.49
  • Bakedin Mug Brownie – RRP £1.50
  • Marstons King Star – RRP £1.70
  • Smooze Fruit Ice – RRP £2.50
  • Destrooper-Olivier Waffle Crisps – RRP £1.10
  • Miracle Noodles – RRP £2.49

As you can see the box had a great variety of products and was great value too – over £23 of products for just £13! The majority of products are things we would use and enjoy and would have bought ourselves to try at some point.

The children’s favourite product was the Smooze Fruit Ice, like other triangular freeze at home ice lollies except these have a consistency like frozen yogurt – really nice and creamy.

We also loved, as a family, the Butterkist Yogurt Coated Popcorn. We have tried so many coated popcorn varieties and they are always such a treat but hadn’t had a yogurt one before now. We love yogurt coated peanuts and fruit so the children saw this as the perfect treat. It wasn’t too sweet and really moreish – perfect for all of us.

My favourite part of the box was the Chocolate Mug Brownie Mix – the perfect treat! You just melt some butter, stir in the mix and microwave it to make the perfect mug of cake. The brownie was so thick and with rich chocolate pieces too – heaven in a mug!

The Destrooper-Olivier Waffle Crisps were thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family. They’re thin but crisp luxury biscuits with a really lovely buttery texture. Melt in the mouth goodness. Hubby is now hoping for a chocolate dipped variety!

As you can see, our Degustabox had a lot of great products in it – as well as ingredients and condiments. It’s full of a good mix of product types and we’ve loved working our way through it. If you haven’t yet signed up to Degustabox you can use the code BLDEG15 for a whopping £7 off your first box – making it just £6. For that price it’s well worth trying it out.

Degustabox has an RRP of £13.00 per month.

Disclosure: We were sent the above box for the purpose of this post however all opinions are my own.
