Review: Casdon WoodPlay – Barn Boxset

LP and Little Man have always loved wooden toys and when they were sent a Barn Boxset from the Casdon WoodPlay range to review they couldn’t wait to start playing. Casdon are well known for their great range of toy versions of household items and it was great to see something new from them, especially something wooden.

The Casdon WoodPlay Boxsets are self contained toys that can be carried by the handle on top and taken on holiday, to a friend’s house or on any other adventure. Everything fits really nicely inside the box and it’s great to have a toy that also includes it’s own storage solution.

The Barn Boxset includes not only a Barn building that appears when the box is unfolded but also a stable, fences, trough, ladder and a range of animals as well as the farmer and his wife. All of the pieces in the set are well made, nicely decorated and give enough play options for the boxset to be a much used toy.

LP and Little Man love their new Barn. They can take everything out and pack it all away again by themselves and use the whole farm to create their own stories. It is the perfect set for imaginative play and also teaches the children about farm life – where animals live, what they eat and how a farm works.

The Casdon WoodPlay range is perfect to give children a toy that will be long lasting, the can be played with and enjoyed for years and that can give them literally hours of play each time they open it. The Fram Boxset is just one of the Casdon WoodPlay range and there are plenty of other options – from pirates to play kitchens!

The Casdon WoodPlay Boxsets have an RRP of £25.00
