Review: CanvasDesign

I love photographs. I take hundreds – A day doesn’t go by where I don’t have my camera in my hand. Most of these pictures end up on the computer never to really be looked at again but I made a bit of a resolution last year to print more pictures and to display photos around the house. I’ve been good and have been printing photos every so often but having just moved our bedroom around we were looking to get a canvas made as a focal point in the room.

CanvasDesign gave me the opportunity to review a canvas and I picked one of the many beautiful photos my photographer friend Ann Wo has taken of the children over the last few months to be made into our latest piece of wall art! This is the photo I chose:

I emailed this photo across to CanvasDesign and specified the canvas size that I wanted. CanvasDesign do a huge selection of sizes but can also accommodate bespoke size requests too and their prices are incredibly reasonable – The lowest price is Β£7.99 for a 6″ x 6″ canvas and the size we went for, 16″ x 20″ was just Β£19.99 – All prices include 48 hour delivery too which I think is fantastic – Most companies charge delivery on top or inflate prices to cover the delivery cost, CanvasDesign offer a reasonable price with no hidden charges.

The canvas arrived and I was impressed with how well it was wrapped – First in bubble wrap, then layers of corrugated cardboard to make sure it wouldn’t get damaged in transit. Everything is also included to hang the canvas – again, no hidden costs!

We have a few canvases around the house now and have also bought them for friends and family over the years. I was expecting a machine stapled canvas on an MDF frame as that is what is normally produced – CanvasDesign products are hand stretched over the frame AND the frame is made from 38mm solid pine! I really couldn’t ask for a better quality canvas – Especially for the price!

Overall the CanvasDesign canvas looks great for a great price. CanvasDesign will definitely be the first place I look when I get canvases printed in future and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to friends. PLUS CanvasDesign are not only offering readers a discount on any canvases ordered – 15% off using the code BLOG15

Disclosure: We were sent the above canvas for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.

  1. They’re pretty good prices. Will save them. I had my last 2 dogs done with an aluminium backing. It is lovely but it was expensive and when I moved it got scratched a little too easily for my liking. I’d love to get a nice one done of Milo πŸ™‚
You chose a smashing photo to get done. It looks great.

  2. I would get a rare pic of my children actually looking at the camera and smiling AND holding hands….these days I just break up their fighting…sibling love!

  3. My boys are little darlings
They are angels most of the time
All though they do some naughty things
    In photographs they shine

  4. I have a great picture of all the family together from last year. It would make a great present for my Mum!
