Preparing for the New Season with JoJo Maman Bebe

I know, we’re only halfway into summer but, as with all things, I like to plan ahead. With that in mind, JoJo Maman Bebe sent LP and Little Man gorgeous coats from their new AW16 collection to get them ready for when the seasons change.

JoJo Maman Bebe clothing is beautiful and so well made. The children haven’t had coats from there before but they have had pretty much everything else – I am a little in love with JoJo Maman Bebe and like to buy clothes from there for special occasions now and again.

LP was sent a Duffle Coat that is just so lovely. It has a timeless, classic style and the bright red will make her stand out in the crowd – but it also comes in pink and navy so you can find the perfect coat for your child. I love that the colour is gender neutral and I know that this coat will have so much wear left in it when LP grows that Little Man can then make use of it the following winter.

It has both zip and toggle fastenings, making it really snug and is really thick, lined and just so warm. It really is the perfect, traditional coat and will be perfect for taking LP to school on those cold winter mornings.

The Duffle Coat also has two big, deep pockets at the front which are great for not only keeping LP’s hands warm but keeping things safe too. The hood is also really generously sized and I can be sure the coat will keep LP warm and dry, whatever the weather.

Little Man was sent the Reversible Waterproof Fleece Lined Rain Jacket in a sail boat print. This coat is just wonderful and comes in nine different prints – I love so many of them! This really is a great coat for Little Man in the colder months.

The fleece lining makes the coat really nice and warm and the sleeves are elasticated at the edges, keeping them in place. They also have hooks inside the sleeves to attach gloves to – a fantastic idea.

The hood is a great size and also has an elasticated edge, keeping it on Little Man’s head even in the windier weather. It also has good size pockets and a zip that he can do up and undo by himself – a little thing that really helps with Little Man’s independence.

Although the Rain Jacket is sold as reversible I much prefer it with the sail boats on the outside rather than that colder layer next to Little Man’s skin and the fleece on the outside. I’m not sure we’ll be reversing it this year but it does add an extra option to the jacket.

It’s nice to know that Little Man and LP are now all set for the colder months and it’s one less thing to worry about whilst we enjoy the rest of the summer. But their new coats are only one small part of what JoJo Maman Bebe have to offer for the coming seasons – I know these won’t be the only JoJo Maman Bebe products in the children’s wardrobes this year!

The Duffle Coat has an RRP of £39.00 and the Rain Jacket has an RRP of £35.00

Disclosure: We were ssent the above products for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.
