Review: Parragon Books: The Princess and The Pea

The Princess and the Pea is one of my favourite stories from childhood and yet until now we hadn’t read it to LP and Little Man although we have read Glitterbelle – Parragon’s modern day version of Princess and the Pea but this month we were sent the actual Princess and the Pea book to review and I couldn’t be any more excited.

The Parragon Princess and the Pea book is a thick board book making it perfect for little hands and giving it a more hardwearing finish than paper based books. Each page has a tab that you pull out to add more to the story giving the book a really interactive feel.

The book is just as good as I remembered and kept both LP and Little Man’s attention through the whole story with the help of the tabs. The illustrations are beautiful and the whole book is something to treasure and read often. LP and Little Man both enjoyed the story and it would make a great addition to any child’s library.

The Princess and the Pea has an RRP of £5.27

Disclosure: We were sent the above book for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.

  1. I absolutely LOVE The Princess & The Pea!

I can’t wait to introduce fairytales to my little one!

You really ought to read ‘THE LITTLE GIRL WHO LOST HER NAME’.

It’s such a pretty book, I think you and your little one would really enjoy it!
