Review: PaperShaker Birthday Invitations

Up until very recently I had been in denial that Little Man’s Birthday was quickly approaching and had my head buried firmly in the sand. How can my youngest child be turning two already?! But I haven’t been thinking about it and the date has been zooming closer and closer so when PaperShaker asked us to review their products I thought ordering Little Man’s Birthday invitations might help me to start planning his Birthday party!

The PaperShaker website is easy to navigate and has everything from birth announcement cards to wedding invitations, Christmas cards and party invites. I chose children’s party invites and spent a long time browsing the many choices – all of which are fully customisable with both photos and text.

In the end I chose and design and got to work editing the existing layout. I added a fairly recent photo of Little Man, moved the kite slightly over, edited the text and I was done – it took no time at all and gave me a lot of opportunity to double check everything I had typed to make sure there were no errors.

When you order with PaperShaker cards come in packs of 10 and you are able to change the paper type and envelopes that come with the cards. I choose the standard matt paper and plain white envelopes and needed 20 cards. Delivery is just Β£2.99 and although I hate paying a delivery cost I have to say that the delivery speed was incredible – I order the cards at 10:30pm one evening and they arrived 36 hours later which for a personalised product and a pretty standard delivery cost is amazing.

The cards arrived in individual packs of 10 cards, each in individual PaperShaker wallets that kept the cards and envelopes in pristine condition. The invites are A6 in size and printed in full colour on both sides. The quality is fantastic and we have had a lot of compliments about them too.

Β£14.90 may seem a lot for 10 invites but for the quality and personalisation I think they are great value. It may not be something that you would think of for every Birthday but PaperShaker should definitely be somewhere you consider when you’re planning your wedding, announcing your child’s birth or marking those special birthdays.
