Health and Hygiene Round Up

I’ve been sent a few health and hygiene items to review recently so thought I’d put together a roundup post to let you know all about them.

Dentyl Active Mouth Wash

I haven’t used mouth wash in years but when I was asked if I’d like to review Dentyl Active I thought it would be a great way to introduce mouth wash to my daily routine. Dentyl Active Mouth Wash is alcohol free and contains both essential oils and an antibacterial agent which work when combined – by shaking the bottle well before use.

When using this mouth wash I have noticed it working as you can see the particles that get washed away in the sink after you spit it out. It leaves my mouth feeling really clean, my teeth smooth and my breath fresh. Using Dentyl Active is now a firm part of both mine and Hubby’s routine both morning and night now and we have really noticed the difference.

Hubby and I seem to spend our lives cleaning things in the house but also when we’re out and about – drinks cups that have been dropped, toys that have fallen from the pushchair or even just the children’s hands when they get dirty.

We were sent Aquaint and haven’t looked back since. Aquaint is a natural, eco-friendly water-based sanitiser that kills 99.9 percent of bacteria in seconds. We were sent a mini sized 50ml bottle that has lived in the change bag ever since and we use it to clean the children’s hands or anything else when we’re away from home. The 500ml spray bottle is great for at home and we have used it to clean toys and surfaces around the home.

Aquaint is great as you don’t have to rinse it off, it’s completely eco friendly and allergy friendly as well as not drying out skin which is perfect when I’m using it regularly on the children’s hands.

Hubby has often used nasal sprays during hayfever season to help him breath through his nose as he suffers from hayfever quite badly. When Sterimar asked if we would like to review their nasal sprays I thought they looked like a great alternative to the chemical filled sprays Hubby usually uses.

Sterimar is a pure, gentle and natural sea water nasal spray suitable for all the family with three different varieties for adults, children and babies. Sterimar is drug and preservative free and can be used by pregnant women which I think is a huge plus point as I know how little I was able to use during pregnancy. Sterimar is safe to use daily and unlike Hubby’s usual nasal product, Sterimar doesn’t have any risk of withdrawal symptoms – Hubby usually has to gradually get use to not using other products over a period of days.

I think Sterimar will definitely be our nasal product of choice going forward!

Disclosure: We were sent the above products for the purpose of this post however all opinions are our own.
