Last weekend I was invited along to a local Lush store in Reading to see their new Lush Easter and Mothers Day ranges. My only experiences of Lush products to date are gifts from friends and relatives a couple of times a year – There’s always a Lush gift set under the tree at Christmas!
The Lush store was kitted out wonderfully with fresh flowers and so many bright colours that it was hard to know what to look at first, Anyone that has any experience of Lush knows that the products smell amazing and they are bold, sparkly and lovely to look at.
The Lush Mothers Day range includes many familiar favourites of bath bombs and shower gels. We had a demo of the Bubblegrub and Ultraviolet bath bombs as well as the Yummy Mummy shower gel. The mix of scents was amazing and I’m sure any mother would be pleased with Lush products at Mothers Day – or any other time of the year!
Lush Easter has to be my favourite part of the event with huge carrot shaped soaps, mini carrot bubble bars and so many different egg shaped bath bombs with eggs hiding in the middle – the Lush Easter range is quirky, nice to look at and with a smell for everyone – there are really sweet products and others that are more earthy and spicy – definitely something to suit every mood and every personality.
Lastly we were shown the new range of Gorilla Perfumes. I would say that these aren’t for everyone and for me they would be lovely as an incense or room fragrance but I can’t imagine wearing them. If you are already familiar with Lush’s original Karma perfume though you’ll love the new range so check it out in store.
Disclosure: I was invited to the above event for the purpose of this post however all opinions are my own.
