Living Arrows – 8/52 {2017}

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I am loving how many people have decided to make Living Arrows a part of their blogging routine for 2017, it is so lovely to have you all here. It’s definitely one of my favourite parts of each week!

If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:

Late For Reality

Mummy Alarm

This week’s photos were taken at home over the last few days. We had a PJ day on Sunday and the children loved just relaxing whilst I started to try and sort out the house a little bit more – it’s all slowly coming together. Both LP and Little Man has haircuts on Friday and I think Little Man looks really little again – and I love this expression on his face.

At the hairdresser, after giving LP a trim, they always plait her hair and do styles that I can never do at home. This time LP loved her little princess plaits. This photo was taken whilst she used some new smelly stationery – and she loved trying to guess what each pen would smell like.

I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week. If I thought a lot of people joined in for the first week then I was amazed at the amount that joined last week! I’m going to keep commenting on all of the posts that link up and sharing my favourite photos each week. Thanks so much for taking part and for adding to this great little community we’re creating – make sure to go and comment on a few other posts at some point during the week too.

  1. LP’s hair definitely looks princessy – it’s a gorgeous colour too. It’s funny how when they’ve had their hair cut, they can look older or younger depending on how it was before.

  2. Great photo choices this week. I always have trouble to take my son to the hairdresser. He loves his curls too much and hates having his hair cut. LP’s braids look great. i wish i could do that on my daughter’s hair! Thanks for hosting x

  3. How pretty does her hair look? J has only had her hair cut once but asked for a fishtail plait (!) which the hubster has since learned how to do x

  4. Love LP’s princess hair! My stylist actually does the same for me after I get my hair cut and I love having fancy hair for a day. Little Man looks adorable, as always!

  7. I love pictures where you just manage to capture a funny expression – LM looks very sweet with his new haircut. And that’s so cool that they plait LP’s hair too when she gets a trim – such a treat!
