Living Arrows – 47/52

Here we are again – another week of Living Arrows! If you haven’t joined in before, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Little Fish

This week’s photos were taken over the course of the week. Little Man loves spending time on our tablets and he has a new Thomas game that he’s pretty obsessed with. I’m amazed at how quickly he picks things up and I think it’s just another sign that he’s growing up.

LP’s photo this week was taken on a trip to Kidzania at the weekend. It’s one of the only times that LP and I get time together, just the two of us and it’s so lovely to be one on one with her. The light isn’t great in this photo but it remind me of how fast she is growing up and what great company she is.

  1. Lovely choices. N would be so jealous of LP with that revolting looking blue drink. He always asks for them and I refuse!

I want to take N to Kidzania, but think I need to let him take a friend because I don’t think he’ll go in on his own. How do the moving round the rooms work – do you decide before going, or just aimless wander from one to the next? Noone’s really explained that.

  2. Toby loves his tablet too – I think he’d play on it all day if we let him! I bet it was nice to have some one on one time with LP, it’s so special when you don’t often get the chance isn’t it?

  3. Oh wow – thanks so much for featuring my photo! Kidzania sounds amazing! They get so engrossed in their apps don’t they? It’s amazing what kids can do with technology now – though feel really old just even saying that! x

  4. I love how you say your kids are good company. I really think children are the most fantastic company…as long as everyone is happy and not fighting. They are full of brilliant insights and your two are definitely looking SO grown up! My laptop has died, so I am using whatever I can! Rahhh! I am so behind with everything! xx
