Living Arrows – 38/52

Here we are again – another week of Living Arrows! If you haven’t joined in before, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Inside Out & About

This week’s photos were taken at home. In between work, school and running errands we haven’t had much time for anything else. But the children haven’t minded – and Little Man has been loving this new addition to our play house. Could they possibly have any more fun in the garden?!

LP has found going back to school, swimming lessons and the busy life of a five year old pretty exhausting. So Saturday afternoon involved not much more than sofa snuggles and TV. Sometimes that is the only thing for it – she slept well that night!

I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week – thanks for taking the time to link up! This really is such a big part of my blogging week and I love that so many people stop by each week.

  1. I always think the second week of school wipes them out more than the first. Our weekend was manic so didn’t really help N have chill out time, but it did work with getting him to do his reading for the first time asking to do it! Whoop.

N would love those binoculars on his climbing frame too!

    Thanks for hosting

  2. There is so much fun to be had just playing in the garden! And snuggles on the sofa are the best, taking time to just chill and enjoy the moment. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing these precious moments!

  3. Great pictures from last week – love the sunglasses! Wow, love the binoculars too – what a cool play house! The simple days are always the best aren’t they? – so good to chill out now and again. Thanks for hosting and for always taking the time to comment on our posts. x
