Living Arrows – 33/52

Well, here we are with another week of Living Arrows! If you haven’t joined in before, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:

Little Fish

This week the photos were taken on two completely different days and situations. Little Man’s was taken in the garden, playing with his new balls. I love how serious he looks and how he doesn’t really know what’s going on at all.

LP’s photo was taken when we were doing a mini fashion show for some school uniform we were sent to review. It amazes me how much LP has grown since she started reception a year ago and how grown up she looks now. She no longer looks out of place in uniform, as though she’s just playing schools. She looks made for the school uniform and so, so ready. Roll on year 1 in a few weeks.

  1. All gorgeous photos chosen. You’re so right about LP. She did look so diddy last year when she first started, but has definitely grown into school.

  2. Oh they’re just gorgeous – and LM looks so much like you in that photo! LP does look so big and confident in her uniform! x x

  3. Thanks for posting my photo. I appreciate it. Lovely photos of your sweet children. I wish mine wore uniforms as it would certainly make life easier.

  4. Such a fab photo of LM – they pull some funny faces don’t they? And LP has definitely grown up a lot in the last year, it doesn’t seem two minutes since she was starting reception. It’ll be our boys’ turn in no time!!
