Living Arrows – 27/52 {2017}

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I am loving how many people have decided to make Living Arrows a part of their blogging routine for 2017, it is so lovely to have you all here. It’s definitely one of my favourite parts of each week!

If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:

Mudpie Fridays

Sophie and Lily

Hot Pink Wellingtons

This week’s photos were taken over the weekend. We had two nights at two different hotels and two days out as well – I’m sitting here on Sunday night and needing another weekend to get over it! Little Man’s photo was taken on Friday night when he was planning what we were going to do on Saturday. He loves a map and even took Holibob Bear along for the adventure!

LP’s photo was taken at Peppa Pig World on Saturday. The children are probably at the top of the age range for Peppa Pig World and were definitely some of the oldest children there. But, they loved it. The rides, the music, the buildings and the characters – they were in their element. Many children grow up so quickly so I’m holding on to this love of cartoon characters for as long as possible.

I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week. If I thought a lot of people joined in for the first week then I was amazed at the amount that joined last week! I’m going to keep commenting on all of the posts that link up and sharing my favourite photos each week. Thanks so much for taking part and for adding to this great little community we’re creating – make sure to go and comment on a few other posts at some point during the week too.

  1. Little Man is such a studious little thing. And look at how chuffed LP looks to be meeting Peppa! Cuties, the pair of them! Little M is yet to discover Peppa Pig, but I’m sure it’s only a matter of time! x

  2. I’m with little man, I love those maps and planning what we are going to do on a day out. My little girl still loves Peppa Pig even at 5 although they both seem to have outgrown Cbeebies already which makes me a little sad. Have a lovely week Donna x

  3. I think it is great to keep them as young as possible for as long as possible! Nothing wrong with being one of the oldest there, just means you’re not trying to make them grow up too fast! Love it! #livingarrows

  4. We used to have annual passes to Peppa Pig World but this year decided not to renew as we’re off to Disney. It’s nice to see they both had a great time, it’s lovely that it’s just down the road isn’t it? x

  5. As you know 😉 we’re looking at taking our girls to Peppa Pig World soon. It sounds like yours had a fab time and I just know Pixie will be in her element! (Me not so much…)

    Thank you for hosting! X

  6. Aww that picture, definitely old onto it for as long as possible. The boys enjoyed it there with Ava when we went recently, they loved the older rides especially the Dinosaur ones. Eilidh x

  7. My son also loves maps. He has a atlas above his bed and every night before he goes to sleep we travel to a different place and learn something about it 🙂 Lovely photos and thank you for hosting

  8. I love LM looking at his map 🙂 And how happy does LP look? I’m strangely proud of the fact that my two have still never seen Peppa (and neither have I!)
