Living Arrows – 19/52

Here we are with another week of Living Arrows! If you haven’t joined in before, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Not Just Cake

This week’s photos were both taken at Little Man’s Birthday party yesterday. It was one of those lovely days, food, friends and a bouncy castle – as well as awesome weather – where you wish the day could last forever.

LP’s photo sums up her on a typical garden day. Hair a mess, rosy cheeks and thinking she’s all kinds of funny with two hats on. She had the best day yesterday.

Little Man’s photo was taken just after we cut his cake. He insisted on having the piece with his name on it and was proud as anything when he got that very piece.

That’s me for another week. I’m looking forward to reading all your posts and seeing all your photos of childhood this week. Thanks for reading – and linking up! Have a wonderful week, whatever you get up to!

  2. Looks like a lovely party. I love the photo of LP this week, she just looks like she’s been having the best time on that bouncy castle. Perfect picture of childhood! Thank you for hosting and for featuring my photo this week x

  3. Awww what lovely photos of your little ones. I’m not surprised he wanted the piece of cake with his name on. Thanks for hosting.

  4. Gorgeous photos. That one of LP makes me laugh – the 2 hats make her look a bit like a scarecrow! although a pretty one. Glad the party was enjoyed by them – N was the same about his cake- he insisted that he had to have the piece with his face on.
