Living Arrows – 10/52 {2017}

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I am loving how many people have decided to make Living Arrows a part of their blogging routine for 2017, it is so lovely to have you all here. It’s definitely one of my favourite parts of each week!

If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:

Emily and Indiana

Somewhere after the Rainbow

Life as our Little Family

This week’s photos were taken on a day out yesterday. I have never seen two children to be so happy to jump in puddles – it feels like we haven’t been out of the house in not so great weather for ages! LP loved it when I pointed out her reflection in the puddles.

Little Man is getting so big and brave. He can use pretty much all play equipment now with limited help and it just shows how fast he’s growing up. I keep forgetting he’s going to be four soon – I think with younger children it’s easy to always think of them as your baby.

I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week. If I thought a lot of people joined in for the first week then I was amazed at the amount that joined last week! I’m going to keep commenting on all of the posts that link up and sharing my favourite photos each week. Thanks so much for taking part and for adding to this great little community we’re creating – make sure to go and comment on a few other posts at some point during the week too.

  1. My Mum still calls me her baby (I’m 28). Once I was meeting a man she was dating and he was received I was 23/24 not 5 as he assumed I lived at home with my Mum as I was ‘her baby’ HAHA.

Love Troy’s coat! I dress Daisy in vests with dinosaurs and spaceships usually.

  2. I still see my kids as my babies and think I always will. However, my mum sees and calls me the mum as I’m the one who looks after her. What a lovely photo of LP. The puddle reflection photo is so cute. xx

  3. Ah it looks fun! We have had some puddle jumping too. I think its great to let them be free like that. I think that it’s a curse of being the youngest being the baby. Mum used to always say it to me loads.

  4. N’s obviously the only one but I don’t really see him as my baby, more just my little boy (but I’m not really a baby person). He’s definitely the baby of the 7 cousins though.

  5. Aww lovely pics again this week. It’s so easy to keep thinking of your children as babies isn’t it? I love the reflection in the puddle.
    Hope you’re having a nice week x

  6. Great photo with the reflection, isn’t it humbling how such simple things which we take for granted are so fascinating to our little ones?

    Thanks for hosting x

  7. I am always amazed at how much pleasure a puddle can provide! Wellies are essential at this time of year aren’t they? As if Little Man is almost 4! My eldest turns 5 tomorrow and it is blowing my mind!!! Thank you so much for hosting Donna xx

  8. That picture of LP and her reflection is ace. I know what you mean about them growing up too – sometimes I look at Toby and Gabe and don’t know when they got so big! I can’t believe LM is nearly 4, that means it won’t be long until Toby is too, and then they’ll both be starting school before we know it!
