Review: Lamaloli Character Clothing

LP has more than a little love of Mickey Mouse and Little Man is swiftly following suit. They both love the TV show and have so many Disney cuddly toys that when Lamaloli got in contact and offered us the chance to review I knew that the children would love to have some character clothing and pyjamas.

Lamaloli is a one stop shop for character clothing at great prices. They have products from birth onwards and even have some adult products too. Their items range from clothes to shoes, accessories and even tableware and bedding. For me, the best thing about Lamaloli though is the prices – everything is great value, especially as I usually expect character products to be hugely more expensive than the same items without Mickey Mouse or Frozen on them!

Lamaloli have a wide variety of brands from Mickey Mouse to Spiderman, Superman and Despicable Me. If your children like cartoons, super heroes or computer game characters then they will love the products from Lamaloli.

I used our Lamaloli credit to buy products for both LP and Little Man but also bought a bargain T-Shirt for Hubby too for under £7! Little Man got a loungewear set, a long sleeved top and a hat and gloves set and LP was more than a little spoilt with three pairs of pyjamas and two t-shirts. I think the amount that we were able to buy for a total of £52 was fantastic!

I originally thought that as the prices were so good the quality might not be up to scratch but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Even the pyjamas were made of nice thick cotton. The stitching and detail on each item was perfect and everything washed really well – none of the transfers cracked or faded at all.

Overall I think Lamaloli fills a gap in the market – affordable character clothing for a variety of ages. The sizing is great as Little Man’s 18-24 month clothes are about the right size for him and LP’s age 3-4 products have a bit of growing room so across the range the sizes are comparable to other brands. The prices are also fantastic, starting at as low as £2 for a top or £5 for a set of pyjamas.

The only slight criticisms of the Lamaloli website that I can think of are that some of the girls clothes were age 2-4 and I avoided buying them as LP is definitely 3+ in clothing now and wasn’t sure if they would fit. Also, a lot of Mickey Mouse clothing was in the ‘boys’ section and I could have missed out on those items for LP if I hadn’t thought to look under both genders. Aside from this the shopping experience was fantastic and I can’t fault Lamaloli – I will be buying from them at Christmas and Birthdays going forward.

Disclosure: We were given credit for Lamaloli for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.
