Review: Jake and the Neverland Pirates – Mighty Colossus

LP and Little Man have loved Jake and the Neverland Pirates since the first time they saw the show and it’s still a show that she asks to watch regularly. When the new Jake and the Neverland Pirates Mighty Colossus turned up for review from Fisher Price both LP and Little Man couldn’t wait to play with it.

The Mighty Colossus comes with Jake and Lord Fathom figures as well as working cannons, a pile of coconuts and a telescope. The whole set didn’t take long to put together and ended up being over two feet high with four levels of game play – a really great size and a sturdy toy.

The children love playing with Mighty Colossus and easily use it as part of a bigger role play game. The whole set lets you explore Jake’s Mighty Colossus High Seas Adventure just like in the show. The wheels on the base make it easy to move around the room when LP and Little Man are acting out adventures of looking for treasure. There is so much to play with on the Mighty Colossus with a working ship’s wheel, sails that can change direction, hidden treasure in the hold and a cell to hold Lord Fathom in.

The front of the toy ship opens up to give good access to the play area and everything stores inside nicely. There’s room for the cannons to fit inside to fire at enemies and there’s even a plank to walk on at the rear of the ship.

LP and Little Man adore the whole play set and it’s their go to toy of the moment. Any fan of Jake and the Neverland Pirates will love Mighty Colossus as it’s so true to the show and the addition of Jake and Lord Fathom make it a really versatile toy – only limited by the child’s imagination and at the moment LP’s imagination knows no bounds!

The Jake and the Neverland Pirates Mighty Colossus has an RRP of £39.99
