Review: Home Made Glass Drinks Dispenser

We have barbecues and gatherings a lot over the course of the summer and one thing that we always try and make as easy as possible is everyone’s ability to help themselves to food and drink. KitchenCraft sent us their Drinks Dispenser to review and I thought it would be perfect for summers in the garden.

The Home Made Glass Drinks Dispenser is made of glass and looks like a large jar. It comes with a tap that you screw in which is straight forward although I would have loved for the tap to be metal rather than plastic.

With a large 3.7 litre capacity the Home Made Glass Drinks Dispenser is a great size for parties and the tap is easy for both children and adults to operate by either pushing down or pulling up, whatever works better.

We have used the Drinks Dispenser mainly for squash and the children can help themselves to drinks. It helps give the children independence and also stops the need for going inside often when you’re having a garden party. It also looks great and is easy to clean although being dishwasher safe would have been a bonus.

I am looking forward to a summer full of cold drinks in the garden and will be putting ice cubes in the dispenser to keep drinks cool – and investing in a set of matching jar glasses too!

The Home Made Glass Drinks Dispenser has an RRP of £24.99

Disclosure: We were sent the above product for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.

  1. Funnily enough I’ve been looking for something like this for the kids as I’m fed up of making squash lol. I perhaps would rather it wasn’t glass though.
