Gin Explorer Review and Giveaway

Anyone who knows me will know how much I love gin. It’s been my drink of choice for years and whether drinking socially in the evening, out with friends or at a summer garden party it is always the drink I go for.

I also love a subscription box so when Gin Explorer got in contact I couldn’t have thought of a more perfect combination for me – a monthly subscription box of gin! Gin Explorer sent me their December box to see for myself what their great idea is actually like.

The box contains for different gins – each one a double measure. there are also a selection of tonics and other treats – mince pie popcorn and a Gin Explorer keyring bottle opener! The box also contained tasting notes and the history of the gins in the pack so that as well as just enjoying the different gins you can learn more about them too.

Gin Explorer Review and Giveaway

Our Gin Explorer box contained four different gins that Hubby and I had never come across before. Jensen’s Old Tom Gin, Cucumber Gin, 5th Gin Fire and Black Tomato Gin. Two of the gins were presented in Gin Explorer bottles meaning that you couldn’t judge the gin on the packaging and each one could be enjoyed purely by it’s flavour.

The gins all varied in flavour – from the traditional with real depth of flavour to fiery flavours. The cucumber gin was the taste of summer in a bottle and the black tomato option was like nothing we had tasted before. Gin will never be the same again and Hubby and I cannot wait to try some more flavours.

Gin Explorer also gives you 10% off purchases at the pretty epic Gin Festival shop. There’s everything from bottles of gin to homeware and gifts. It’s the perfect place to shop for any gin lover.

Gin Explorer Review and Giveaway

We really loved Gin Explorer and we’re now tempted to take out a subscription for ourselves. For a maximum cost of £25 a month Hubby and I could enjoy four single gin and tonics each, learn about gin together and have a little treat that is just for us. I am completely sold on Gin Explorer and really don’t have any criticism at all.
