Review: FRiEQ Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit

When we bought our new car we had the option of having a built in handsfree system to take calls whilst driving but we didn’t think the expense would justify the amount we would use it but since then there have been times where I have been on long journeys and have had to miss calls as I haven’t been able to answer them.

This problem was solved when we were sent the FRiEQ Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit to review. The kit arrived in one compact box and I wasn’t sure it would live up to my expectations but I was proven wrong!

To install the FRiEQ Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit into your car you plug the auxiliary cable in, plug the USB cable in and then attach the bluetooth unit to somewhere convenient using the mount that’s included. This is done simply by removing the backing and sticking it to a flat surface. The unit then attaches magnetically.

When using the FRiEQ Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit you have to switch the car stereo into aux mode and then press the bluetooth unit to answer any incoming call. The audio is clear and you can hear the caller well although we found that when I spoke it was a bit less clear but this is to be expected when using any hands free system whilst driving.

The FRiEQ Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit can also be used to play music from your mobile device directly through the car stereo. The bluetooth unit even has buttons to enable you to skip through the tracks easily.

Overall the FRiEQ Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit has enabled me to take calls in the car pretty much effortlessly. I don’t use it for music very often as I prefer to listen to the radio but use it on long journeys for phone calls and have had no issues with it. If you’re looking for an in car hands-free kit then definitely take a look at this one.

The FRiEQ Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit has an RRP of £59.99

Disclosure: We were sent the above product for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.
