Review: Debenhams Flowers – Mothers Day Flowers

I can’t remember the last time I was sent flowers through the post, it was probably when LP was born but it is always so special to be sent flowers, at any time of the year. Debenhams Flowers got in contact to introduce me to their service by letting me review one of their Mothers Day Flowers range. I can’t tell you how excited I was to be sent flowers – even if I had picked them myself!

The range of bouquets that Debenhams Flowers offer is fantastic – with lots of different colours, different types of flowers and even a few potted plants too. I chose the Spa Retreat Gift Set which includes a bouquet of roses and berries along with a Sanctuary Spa Gift Set. I was able to choose my flower delivery date and it arrived well packaged and in great condition.

The bouquet was easy to remove from the delivery box and looked as if it had just been picked up from a florist, the presentation was fantastic. The roses had opened slightly but not fully, as you can see in the photos, and the colour was beautiful – I thought orange was something a bit different and would stand out.

Over the next few days the roses opened beautifully and the berry stems really broke up the orange of the roses. The bouquet came with flower food making the flowers long lasting and easy to care for.

Also included with the flowers was the Sanctuary Spa Gift Set which was slightly different to the one pictured on the website but still fantastic, with full size products instead of the mentioned trial size ones. This is a great addition to the flowers as it gives you something longer lasting rather than just flowers that will die within a week or so – Debenhams blooms are guaranteed for 7 days and ours have lasted well over that already.

The Debenhams Flowers Spa Retreat Gift Set has an RRP of £34.99 which I think is great value as it includes next day delivery or delivery on your specified date. Debenhams Flowers are also giving all readers 25% off their flower ranges using code DFBLOG25 which includes all of their flowers except the Flowers by Post range.

If you’re looking for flowers for Mothers Day or any other occasion, take a look at Debenhams Flowers and use the discount too, your recipient won’t be disappointed!

Disclosure: I was sent the above flowers for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.
