Celebrating the Queen’s Birthday with a Serenata Flowers Giveaway! (Competition now closed)

Disclosure: We were sent the featured products for the purpose of this post however all opinions are my own.

Over the last couple of months the UK have gone into full celebration mode for the Queen’s 90th Birthday and it’s set to continue until her official Birthday in June.

Reaching 90 is such a huge milestone – especially for such a much loved member of the monarchy. Everyone in Britain, and many abroad, have wanted to celebrate with her and I have seen so many towns and villages locally awash with bunting and banners to wish Her Majesty a very Happy Birthday.

But what do you buy for someone’s 90th Birthday? I have no idea. I would think that the Queen would appreciate a well chosen card, a slice of cake, maybe a glass of fizz and some time to herself, away from all those royal duties, to do something like – like have a manicure or read a book. That’s definitely what I’d love to be doing for my 90th Birthday!

I like to think that she had her own celebration, surrounded by all of her family and away from the public eye. Watching the grandchildren play and reflecting on the legacy that she is continuing to create. Ninety years is an incredible age for anyone – but for the Queen who has achieved so much it will be one more much celebrated Birthday and another year to do so much more.
