Enjoying Healthier Meals at Home with WW Smart Kitchen – and Win!

I love a recipe box. There is something so lovely about having everything you need for meals delivered right to your door and when I found out about WW Smart Kitchen I couldn’t wait to try it. The thing that makes WW Smart Kitchen different from other recipe boxes is that it’s a partnership between Bearfaced Groceries and Weight Watcher, offering a great range of fresh food accompanied by recipe cards, all with clear calories and Smart Points so you know exactly what you’re eating.

Enjoying Healthier Meals at Home with WW Smart Kitchen - and Win!

WW Smart Kitchen comes well packaged and includes ice packs so that everything arrives ready to just be popped in the fridge. There’s a choice of three or five meals per box and with each meal to feed two or four people – we were sent a three meal box for four people to review so that we could still cook one meal each evening to enjoy as a family.

Review: Playmobil 6927 Country Pony Farm

Hubby put the Playmobil Country Pony Farm together with Little Man and it did take them a good hour. It has so many pieces and some little fiddly bits too but the instructions are easy to follow and Little Man enjoyed the process.

Protected from the Elements with Berghaus Coats

We spent last weekend at Chessington World of Adventures and, like any typical British weekend, the weather wasn’t the best – with it being overcast, windy and threatening rain at any moment. But, it is March so we can’t expect too much from the weather although the children and I were sent coats from Berghaus to keep us warm and dry during our little adventure.

The children love conforming to stereotypes – with Little Man choosing a blue coat and LP choosing a pink coat from the Berghaus children’s range. As soon as they arrived I knew that they would be their new favourite coats – they are a great size, fit them well and are so much more practical than their other coats.

A Beautiful Entrance Hall with Noa and Nani

Our extension has completely transformed our home and given us so much more living space – with new spaces and changing the way we use the old spaces too. When we were planning the extension I knew that I wanted to incorporate an entrance space around our new side door. It’s the way a lot of people come into our home and it’s the door we will often use for the school run, trips to the park or our little adventures so it’s only right that there was somewhere for coats and shoes, right there where we need them.

I looked everywhere for a unit that could hold both coats and shoes. I wanted something streamlined that wouldn’t take up too much space. I wanted the children to be able to sit at it to put their shoes on and I wanted it to be really practical – not something that just looked nice but something that really worked for us as a family.

Introducing the Animal Rescue App

*This is a collaborative post

LP and Little Man love finding new apps to use and enjoy and their latest discovery is Animal Rescue. It’s a really brightly coloured book app based on Patrick George’s original interactive Animal Rescue children’s book. The app is purely visual – there are no words or instructions meaning that any child can really enjoy Animal Rescue regardless of their age, level of development or native language.

Introducing the Animal Rescue App

The aim of Animal Rescue is to reunite animals on each page with their friends and family, sending them back to their natural habitat. The app can be read like a book, going through page by page but once you have met all the animals it’s simple to skip through to your favourite animal each time you play.
