Being Brave {The Ordinary Moments}

Since LP started preschool, nearly a year ago, her confidence has come on in leaps and bounds. She has come out of her shell, made friends and learnt so much. She has also lost a lot of fear that used to have where adventure playgrounds were concerned.

LP used to have a big fear of climbing things and being any distance off the ground but over the last six months or so she has started to be braver and try things, pushing her own boundaries and experiencing as much as possible.

LP will now do every activity in an adventure playground – even ones that are clearly to big for her – and she’ll give everything a try. She wants to do everything and loves to be jumping, running, climbing and spinning. She finds adventure playgrounds such exciting places and now that she has learnt to be brave she enjoys them so much more.

I love watching LP grow and learn and I love to see her outdoors, with her brother or her friends, enjoying herself. She has grown so much over the last year and I am so proud of her.

  1. Aw she looks so little on that big piece of equipment! But I know exactly what you mean- Mads went through a bit of a timid stage when it came to playgrounds and all of a sudden is trying to climb on the really big stuff when we go to the park- in fact just on Friday I said to her that’s far too big for you- I still think of her as being tiny when in actual fact she’s more than capable! They are growing so fast! x

  2. Ahh that’s amazing how much she has grown and changed. I am wondering how many things will improve and change for B after he starts in September. Well done little lady! #ordinarymoments

  3. It’s so lovely to hear how her confidence has grown. I know exactly what you mean when you say how proud it makes you feel – Ethan has grown so much in confidence lately too and it is just amazing, as his Mum, to see. I feel so proud too! xx
