Review: Bob the Builder Magazine

Egmont sent us us a copy of their brand new Bob the Builder magazine and LP couldn’t have been more excited. Both her and Little Man have been huge fans of Bob the Builder since it’s recent rebrand and so I thought the Bob the Builder Magazine would be a nice treat for them.

This issue of the Bob the Builder magazine includes a toy hammer – which was immediately given to Little Man who couldn’t have been happier with it. The magazine also came with an Activity Book that is made from good quality paper, perfect for all the colouring and drawing activities inside. I love that this smaller book is included as it can be saved until after reading the main magazine and makes the play experience with the magazine that much longer.

The actual Bob the Builder Magazine includes many stories and each page is well illustrated with bright colours and familiar characters. The stories are just long enough to keep LP’s attention and are stories she loved listening to when we read them with her.

The magazine also includes more activities throughout the pages including number and letter writing and a few things that children may need help with such as cutting things out. It would be a great way for parents and children to do something together – especially on rainy days.

LP’s favourite part of the magazine were the stickers in the centre where she also found a Bob the Builder poster! The whole Bob the Builder Magazine has a lot to offer and for just £3.99 I think it’s great value. We love to buy the children magazines when we go away for the weekend or just for a treat every so often and Bob the Builder will definitely be one we buy in the future.

Disclosure: We were sent the above product for the purpose of this post and compensated for our time however all opinions are my own.
