We moved into our house nearly five years ago and since then I have been looking for blinds for our kitchen as certain times of the day – especially in the winter months – the sun is so low that it makes the kitchen far too bright to be in. I haven’t been able to find blinds wide enough for our main kitchen window and had given up hope until Blinds Supermarket got in touch and asked if we’d like to review their made to measure blinds.
The range of blinds at Blinds Supermarket is fantastic with many different styles, fabrics and price brackets to suit every home and lifestyle. We chose the Emma Beige fabric roller blinds and I found it easy to measure the windows to order the blinds. I then had the option of scalloped or straight edges, which side we would like the control cord on and whether we would like a matching braid. Blinds Supermarket even offer measurement protection where you pay 10% extra but are covered in case your measurements are incorrect and the blinds don’t fit correctly.
The blinds arrived incredibly well packaged and with all the fittings needed to attach them to the window frames. The blinds were the perfect sizes, just as I had ordered and Hubby fitted them in place easily – although our metal window surrounds did cause him a few problems!
We now have beautiful blinds in our kitchen that keep our the direct sunlight when needed, add some privacy at times and look lovely when rolled up out of the way. The colour goes well with our kitchen and the fabric is really good quality, thick enough without blocking all the sunlight.
If you are looking for made to measure blinds the service from Blinds Supermarket has been fantastic with quick delivery and a huge amount of options. We’ll definitely be shopping there again.
Disclosure: We were sent the above blinds for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.
